2012/06/30 Sat 10:46 AM • Eye Beamを訪問しました。 ちょうどOpen Studioでここで開発された作品の展示が行われていたためたくさん見る事が出来ました。 それにしても広い！ めちゃくちゃ広くてシーンとした空間。 こんな所で製作したら気持ちいいだろうなぁ〜！ 残念ながら一番気になっていた3Dカメラの作者は不在で会う事が出来ませんでしたが、他にも環境問題を意識した展示が多く楽しい時間を過ごす事が出来ました。 ↑EYE BEAM外観 チェルシーの倉庫街にそっと存在している。 この辺りは倉庫を改造した大小様々なギャラリーがたくさんあるが、 どれも入り口が分かり辛く、入っていいのかさえ分からない・・・。 ↑EYE BEAMの広い展示空間。 古い倉庫をリノベーションしているが、もとの風合いを残したところが渋い！ ↑Kinect、高性能デジタルカメラを使ったリアルタイム3Dスキャニングシステム。 デモムービーが流れているだけだったが、是非実際に動いているところで自分のモデルを見てみたかったなー。 ↑中はこんな感じ。 水の落ちるタイミングを制御して文字を表示する展示が大きくて印象的でした。
